Bodabook brides

Last week the 2nd Edition of the Bodabook Sí quiero Fashion Show was held. We had the honour of being present on the catwalk holding the hands and wearing the headdresses of David Christian's brides, Thinking Ali and Demi.

The Fernan Núñez Palace was the most spectacular place to celebrate this new edition and DJ Mickey Pavón was in charge of livening it up by giving it rhythm.

David Christian 's brides were crowned as snow queens and looked gorgeous in our crystal crowns and a tulle hat with silver spikes. Daring and very elegant!

Alicia from Thinking Ali made her debut with a clear oriental inspiration. Her 5 bridal proposals wore mimokis inspired by Japanese gardens and the Shanghai of our great-grandparents. She closed her show with a very special bride who wore our straw Chinese hat with hand-painted silk petals like no one else.

Lucía de DeMi was the youngest of the participants. Fresh from finishing her degree, she ventured into the world of bridal sewing and offered ideas for urban, independent and different brides. A coral turban with crystals, a feather crown and other colorful mimokis were her best allies.

Thank you for trusting mimoki on this very special occasion. We wish you all the best and hope you continue to make brides dream with your designs, your sewing and your magical world.
