Natalia del Rivero's wedding with Mimoki headdresses

I have known Tuchi for many years, it had been a few years since we last saw each other in NY, so I was very excited when he wrote to me to tell me that he was getting married and that he wanted to have two mimokis !!!

Natalia is creative, fun, beautiful, and radiates an energy that fills any room.

She and her now husband Chris live in New York, where she has her design studio. Del Rivero Design , so during her visits to Spain before the wedding we polished the details of the two headdresses she wore.

The hat we designed with her for her first wedding ceremony is a light piece, handmade in our mimoki workshop that combines off-white parasisal with a touch of horsehair and black vintage grosgrain, matching her dress.

Natalia confided in her college friend, the designer Adriana Rivera , to create her dress. And the result couldn't have been better. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn and the style passed down from her grandmother, they created a unique black and white design. With a 50's vibe, the off-the-shoulder neckline with black trim and a full skirt made us fall in love.

The first ceremony, intimate and among family and close friends, was held in a small chapel in Marbella. Natalia spent her summers there, so there could not have been a better destination for her wedding than the south of Spain; with that characteristic light that made all the photos breathe a Mediterranean and fresh atmosphere.
